don't know if u will read this, but i think becuase we like seeing peoples work in the leacture y don't u ask each tutor to nominate a student each week in which u present to the lecture group as a good students work. that way we see a variety of students work not the same over and over.

i thought that was the idea behind the blogs.. being able to see other peoples work? perhaps instead of taking up valuable lecture time, each tutor could post up on their blog each week with something they see as noteworthy from one of their students?

hi russell, do we have to get a credit to pass onto the next semester?

Hi, thanks for the picture, pretty powerful and a fair bit of tension going on in the meeting space. Quite overwhelming actually. Cheers.

Hi All, JP, you're welcome. Anonymous 1; it's interesting you note that I'm showing the same group of student's work over and over ... my strategy is to show the best work, and to do this I get the tutors to nominate students from their group (which is what you suggest). I have avoided showing individual pieces of work (even though most students have something to share which is top quality) because it's difficult to understand a single piece of works full meaning when taken out of context. Anonymous 2; this weeks lecture task asks students to nominate the strongest and weakest pieces of work on another students blogs. This then becomes a starting point for discussions on their own work in studio. I think it gets to what you are aiming at, and develops your own level of criticism at the same time. Anonymous 3; no. but you will need a credit average to get into the M.Arch program. Cheers

Hi russell, when you see we need a credit average to get into M.Arch, does it mean for the entire Architectural Studies program, or just for the Design Studio courses?

Regarding the credit average to get admitted into the m.Arch course; this applies across all of your courses, not just the studio courses.
