Great tower and I'm happy Jean Nouvel's design won, but his proposal for Tour Phare was way more interesting externally! And Jacques Ferrier's rejected proposal for Tour Signal has come up again for another tower in La Defense called Tours Hermitage:

Some nice designs but its a real shame to see Paris even considering a skyrise considering its beauty really comes from the fact that its only low rises and really connects a community. The first finalist kind've got to that speaking of trying to keep the community feel to it and conneting the Seine to La Defense which is also kind've important (walking from where the Seine is in the centre of the city out to La Defense feels like walking into a different country). Hopefully this works because it may have opened the flood gates for dozens of high-rises within the next few years.
Hi Russell, I was wondering if all the things in the assessment criteria on the feedback sheets has an equal weightage? As in % for the Mashup = % for the perspective drawings = % textures, etc. ?
Just a bit paranoid, that's all.
