THERE WILL BE AN ATTENDANCE CHECK AT MONDAYS LECTURE. ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED BY THE UNIVERSITY TO ATTEND A MINIMUM OF 80% OF ALL SCHEDULED CLASSES IN THEIR COURSES.
STUDENTS THAT FALL BELOW THIS THRESHOLD CAN NOT PASS THE COURSE.
THIS IS THE FIRST OF 3 RANDOM ATTENDANCE CHECKS.

Hi Russell, I was wondering if there's an alternative program that we can use aside from UT2004.
Is it possible perhaps to do this project using UT3 (or a more recent one than UT2004) instead?

hi Jonathan, unfortunately we have to use the software that has the best chance of running on all of the students machines. At this stage thats UT2004. Next year we will use UT3, or Crysis. But at this stage a large proportion of the class wouldn't be able to run those games/editors. If you are doing the real time interactive computing course in ArchComp (second semester this year) or advanced architectural studios in the future you'll get to use those two.
