SKETCHUP ANIMATION EXPORT OPTIONS

WITH VIDEO ANIMATION THERE ARE A GREAT DEAL OF OPTIONS IN TERMS OF HOW A VIDEO IS SAVED. IN SKETCHUP YOU CAN SPECIFY THE FRAME SIZE, THE FRAME RATE, THE FILE TYPE, THE CODEC (COMPRESSION AND DECOMPRESSION TYPE) AND ASPECT RATIO TO NAME A FEW.
FOR YOUR ANIMATIONS IN EXP1 USE THE SETTINGS BELOW.

Hi Russell!
I hope i'm allowed to post a question here, about today's lecture and our task of uploading an animation by Wednesday....

Is the animation, the 10sec video that showed off our SketchUp model?? OR are we supposed to compose anything, as long as it's somewhat related to our model....?

Sorry but i'm just a bit confused!

Yeah, I'm confused about exactly the same thing.

I was sure that we were supposed to upload just about any video that's related to our current project, probably to get on practising of uploading videos on YouTube. I was sure only until I saw this posting, and now I am confused.

yes I am confused as well, I've made a short video that has a thematic link to my sketch up work, but I can also do a sketch up animation. What do you need by Wed?

Russell,
is it ok not to loop to starting scene? seeing how the animations are only 10sec and sometimes the end scene is not at all related to the 1st one?

Hi Russell,

I don't know if you remember, but i mentioned sandra hadn't linked her blog to yours during one of the studios. It appears she has done that now, but she hasn't linked my blog, most likely because there was a mistake in the address i gave her the 1st week.
i wrote the correct link on the roll the week she couldn't make the session, so im not sure if she got that. Wonder if it can be fixed before EXP1 is due in. Here's the link just in case; Chris Tran: www.chris-tran.blogspot.com

Cheers.
